"Born and raised in NYC by artists and musicians, it was in the early 80's that I became involved in an element of hip-hop culture: Graffiti, an integral part of a new movement that electrified the streets. After learning my (aerosol) craft on the subways, I was then formally trained at SUNY Purchase where I learned to merge both classical and modern painting styles.

Having worked on numerous videos, commissions, and group shows, I have learned that the blending of traditional and controversial art forms breaks down barriers and borders leading to a road less travelled. " -Dan "Omni" Whedon
